MYTEAM: I enjoyed MyTeam this year, but that's probably because I pulled a Diamond. If you do feature a storyline in 2K17, at least give us branching storyline paths, and don't alienate half your fanbase by forcing us to play within the "Born in the projects, from a black family" stereotype. Why couldn't you let me choose to stay in college, or cut off Vic from my circle of friends, I'm not gonna be played by some dumb guy from the projects who thinks he's the face of Brooklyn. The storyline in 2K16 gave no choice to the player at all, apart from what college we could go to. Drop the storyline if it locks me into a player I don't want to be: Big mistake hiring Spike Lee 2K.

Also, the ability to play full High School and College games would be great, not just 6 minute halves or 2 minute quarters. Hopefully this is expanded to include more colleges in the future, playing in an end of year tournament, as well as the ability to stay in college past one year. Including High School and College was great, especially for players who played CH2K8. Improve and expand upon the High School and College portion of M圜areer: 2K16 was a great step for the future of M圜areer. Bringing back individual attibutes will give players more individuality online. All it does is shuffle all the players into one build, depending on what postion and play-style they are. Make M圜areer attributes individual again: Why you ever grouped attributes in the first place, I have no idea. This probably won't happen because people will make all 25 Overall prospects, making the mode easier to gain VC in and taking away money from 2K, but I can dream. It would be great if we could select Draft Classes that other players have made, just like we can in MyGM and MyLeague. They ruin the league as soon as they're drafted, they are a legitimate cancer to the NBA. Ability to choose draft classes before each M圜areer season: I hate the generated 2K rookies so much. MYCAREER: These wishes will be entirely in the realm of possibility, unlike others such as "Let us have a house, and a car, and a family, and let me walk around the city, and customize my house and stuff!!1!1!!!!" Greg Anthony's lines are recycled from Kerr, and there is barely any interaction between the three, and when there is, it seems so forced and robotic. Record more lines of commentary between Kellogg, Harlan and Anthony: I'm hoping 2K are already doing this, but the departure of Steve Kerr left a huge gap in the commentary this year.

All in-game cutscenes should be skippable immediately, I shouldn't have to wait for 5 seconds before any command is registered. The game hangs around way too long on pointless shots of the crowd and referees.

Decrease time spent in cutscenes (Timeouts, inbounds, halftime and post-game shows): I probably spend more time button-mashing then actually playing the game because of this. PRESENTATION: Almost no complaints from me here, 2K always do a good job with their presentation, however: I do admit, it's gotten better over time, but the plays are too contrived to actually work on a virtual basketball court, screens don't work (See above) and the play gets broken up, or the play initiator just stands at the top of the key and has to chuck up a shot because the play took too long to develop. Make plays more effective: This has been a pet peeve of mine for ages, with all 2K games. And make moving screens more rare please, it's impossible to set a good screen when you control the bigman, as you're either too slow to get there, or you're too fast and get whistled with an illegal screen. Why were the other team's screens so sticky, but when I set a pick, the player seems to find a gap to go straight over it? And if they didn't go straight over the screen and immediately bump you, they'd go under and hedge you hard with the other defender. Make screens more effective: This is something I noticed in the first few days of playing.

I can predict when the game will make me miss a free throw, (Opponent down 3, 14 seconds to go, need one free-throw to seal the game with Westbrook, oh, of course he bricked it!) and I have actually seen the ball been pushed off the rim by air when it hung around there for too long because my opponent took a bad shot he shouldn't have made. At least tone down the rubber-banding: I know, I know "Rubber-banding doesn't exist, close out games better you scrub." This is true for most games, but sometimes it is blatently obvious the game is trying to artificially make the game close.
